Telangana current affairs 08th July 2016 :
1. Telangana Ku Haritha Haram (TKHH) programme 2nd edition started on 08th July from: Choutuppal market yard and Gundrampalli village, Chityal mandal of Nalgonda district.
2. This mission main objective is to increase forest cover in Telangana from existing 24% to 33% of total geographical area.
Under this project:
• 230 crore seedlings are proposed to planted and protected over four years
• First year 15.86 crores saplings planted
• Second year target is 46 crores saplings plantation
• This project includes initiatives both in notified forest areas and outside notified forest areas
3. Nagulapally (Medak): As a part of ‘’Sagaramala programme’’ of the ministry of shipping, 7 multi model logistic parks (MMLP’s) approved across 7 states. Out of these one project allocated to Telangana, proposed MMLP to be developed at Nagulapally (Medak) with investment of 120 crores.
